Halloween Costume Bomb Scare

This didnt happen in Michigan, but is an interesting Halloween story.

 

ST. Louis • A suspected bomb that caused a quick evacuation of homes within the 4000 block of Oleatha Avenue this morning clad to be a part of a Hallowe'en costume, police aforementioned.

Authorities were referred to as once a true house agent discovered the realistic-looking, bomb-like item within the vacant zero in the Tower Grove South neighborhood. The city's bomb squad investigated.

Police reached the previous resident, UN agency aforementioned the suspected bomb was a part of a dressing up left within the basement. Authorities confirmed that the supposed device was harmless.

"We've talked to the previous resident and it had been whole left behind by mistake," said St. gladiator police Lt. Darla Gray.

The prop looked real enough to warrant vocation the city's bomb squad, Gray said.

"You need to treat everything as if it's real and proceed consequently," she said.
